The Moscow Mule is a refreshing, slightly sweet cocktail that is perfect for summer sipping. It is made with vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice, and is garnished with a slice of lime and of course some red bull. Moscow Mule originated in the 1940s, and takes its name from the city of Moscow and the mule, a type of horse.

Most bars serve The Moscow Mule in a copper cup in order to truly enjoy the drink’s flavor and presentation. There are four main reasons why this drink is served in a copper cup.

  1. Temperature: The copper cup helps to keep the drink cold to ensure that the drink stays this way throughout the entire drinking experience. This is how a true Moscow Mule with red bull is meant to be enjoyed.
  2. Unique Flavor: The copper cup also helps in giving this drink a unique flavor in a process called oxidation. This process starts immediately when the drink makes contact with the sides of the copper cup.
  3. Traditional Presentation: For a long time, this drink has been served in a copper cup as part of the Moscow tradition. So it is fair to maintain these traditions.
  4. Exortic Presentation: Since the copper cup is a beautiful vessel, it make the The Moscow Mule a visually stunning drink.

Will Moscow Mules give you a hangover?

There is no definitive answer to this question as everyone’s bodies react differently to alcohol. Personally, I get slightly hungover each time I consume Moscow Mule because I add a lot of red bull. The Red Bull helps in reducing the strength of this powerful drink. Learn more about the company behind Red Bull Energy Drinks >>

However, generally speaking, any alcoholic beverage has the potential to cause a hangover if consumed in excess. Therefore, it is possible that Moscow Mules could give you a hangover if you drink too much. To avoid this, be sure to drink in moderation and always drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Besides the Moscow Mule, there is the Irish Mule, Mexican Mule, Glasgow Mule, Minted Mule and many more.

  • Garnish With: Any red bull drink, Herbs, and Mint

A mojito with red bull is a classic, refreshing and energizing cocktail that is one of the most popular summer cocktails in bars across the Americas. The mint and lime in the mojito are a perfect match for the sweetness of the red bull, and combining these two will definitely give you a boost of energy.

The Mojito also makes for a great party drink because it can be served on ice and is easy to make. All you need is white rum, lime juice, sugar, sparkling water, mint and of course red bull energy drink.

However, if you’re out of limes or just not feeling them, there are plenty of other ways you can make your mojito more unique. Here are 6 most popular ways to make your mojito with red bull more unique:

  1. Use a different type of rum
  2. Add a splash of fruit juice
  3. Use mint instead of lime
  4. Try a sugar-free version
  5. Garnish with fresh fruit or herbs
  6. Garnish with one of soft drinks from red bull “The Organics”.

What is the origin of Mojito?

The origin of the mojito is unclear, but it is thought to have originated in Cuba in the early 1900s. The first written mention of the mojito was in a Cuban newspaper in 1908. Mojito became popular in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s, when American tourists began visiting Cuba. This cocktail has since become one of the most popular cocktails in the world.

  • Main Alcohol: Tequila
  • Ingredients: 1 oz Cointreau, 1 oz Lime juice, 2 oz Tequila
  • Served In: Margarita Glass
  • Origin: Mexico
  • Events Most Consumed: Bars, Parties, and Nightclubs
  • Hangover: Depends on the Garnishment
  • Garnish With: Lime slice, Salt on the rim, and Any red bull drink

The Margarita is a classic cocktail invented by Carlos “Danny” Herrera at his restaurant Rancho La Gloria, located between Tijuana and Rosarito Beach in Mexico. This cocktail is made with tequila, triple sec, and lime juice, and is served over ice in a salt-rimmed glass. The Margarita is a refreshing and flavorful drink that is sure to please you at your next party or gathering.

Since there is salt on the glass of a margarita, I like to drink it with red bull Sugar Free or Zero. Some of my friends drink it with normal red bull but personally I do not like conflicting tastes of two extremes.

One of the main reasons why Margarita Cocktail is best served with red bull is because it contains tequila which is a very strong alcohol. Tequila has an alcohol percentage of between 40 to 50. The two most common Tequilas used in a margarita are Reposado and Blanco.

4) Hennessy with Red Bull

Popularity: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

  • Main Alcohol: Hennessy
  • Ingredients: 2 shots of Hennessy and 100ml of any Red Bull energy drink
  • Served In: Whisky Glass
  • Origin: France
  • Events Most Consumed: Bars, Parties, Nightclubs, Golf clubs, and most events
  • Hangover: It Depends
  • Garnish With: Lime slice, Lemon Juice, or Orange Peel

If I am not in a cocktail mood, Hennessy with Red Bull is by far one of my most favorable red bull alcohol drinks. This mix has earned a cool nickname “Henny Bombs” which is a play on the popular drink, “the Jager Bomb” (a drop of jagermeister shot into a glass of red bull).

I always observe at any party I attend and I find a lot of people including my friends having “Henny Bombs”. When I ask my friends why they love this mix, most of them say they find that Hennessy provides a smooth and slightly sweet flavor that pairs well with the slightly bitter taste of Red Bull.

Other people might enjoy the energy boost that they get from drinking a RedBull and Hennessy mix to keep them awake at a party or nightclub. So if you haven’t tried this combination, you might want to give it a sip.

5) Jager Bomb – Jagermeister with RedBull

Jagerbomb (Jagermeister with red bull)

Quick Overview Jager Bomb

Popularity: ★ ★ ★ ★

  • Main Alcohol: Jagermeister
  • Ingredients: 1/2 can Red Bull energy drink, 1/2 oz Jagermeister herbal liqueur
  • Served In: Pub or Shot Glass
  • Origin: Germany
  • Events Most Consumed: Bars, Parties, Nightclubs
  • Hangover: It Depends
  • Garnish With: Apple Juice but best taken without any garnishment

Another delicious red bull alcohol drink is the JagerBomb. Jagerbomb is the combination of a shot of Jagermeister and an energy drink (typically red bull). The drink is often served in a small glass or cup, and is typically consumed quickly like a shot of tequila.

Jagerbomb can get you drunk so easily depending on the mix ratio. I find jagerbomb most suitable if I want to get a faster kickstart at a nightclub. Taking one or two shots will do the trick of lightening you up and putting you in a party mood. But you should also be cautious with the number of shots you take and what you drink after that. Trust me, you don’t want your partying to end prematurely from a blackout.

Bottom-Line

Although there are plenty more red bull alcohol drinks, these 5 in my opinion are the most delicious if you want to have a great weekend. The Moscow Mule, Mojito and Henny Bombs are my most favorite on this list.
If you want to experience the best party time or nightlife, you should at least try one of these alcoholic drinks mixed with red bull.
